How much does an MVR report cost?
It depends on the state that issued the driver's license — the full per-state table is above, starting at $4.00 per report. The price shown is the all-in carrier price: the state DMV fee and the service fee are already included, so there is nothing added at checkout.
Why do MVR prices differ by state?
Each state DMV sets its own fee for pulling a motor vehicle record, and those fees range from a few dollars to $30 or more. Strivie passes that through as one all-in price per report, so the number in the table is the whole cost — state fee plus service fee — with no separate line items.
Is there a subscription, or do I pay per report?
Per report. There is no MVR subscription and no seat fee for ordering records — you pay the listed state price only when you actually pull one. Order a driver's MVR in-app from the qualification file and the report comes back to that same file.
How often should a carrier pull MVRs?
At hiring, and at least once a year after that — FMCSA requires an annual review of each driver's driving record (49 CFR 391.25) as part of the driver qualification file.
